paint.

this is my new and very favorite painting! im so so obsessed with it. its inspired by jim houser whom i heard about through this lady its been so much fun to reeeeally let my mind wander im not focused on perfection or artistic appeal its really just about exploring my canvas and mixing paints and experimenting. its great.:)

i am sickened.

Tonight I ran across someone, yes on the internet, BUT it was a certain someone that has really inspired me for at least 3 years now, a someone that made me want to delve deeper into my creative side. journal, scrapbook, paint, craft, draw, and ive loved it, I have grown so much creatively since ive known of her. It is so disappointing to find that one of your idols, in the real world cares nothing about you unless your caring immensely about them. Its a huge let down and a reality check for sure. If i am ever a successful artist or well known in anything i choose to do, i will be nice to everyone and anyone that calls me an idol and will truly be thankful for peoples support. Im convinced that these people dont care about their work, the people , making beautiful art, they care about themselves and what good can come to them from it. I make things and paint and draw because it makes me happy, it brings me peace, and i love letting my mind wander. I dont care if anyone ever sees my work or like it, i do it for myself and it makes me sick to think of how cold-hearted some people can be. yuck. yuckyuckyuck.

Survival of the dead...

George A. Romero's Survival of the dead looks...interesting. He's the dude that did Day, night, dawn, land, document, and diary of the dead. He also did The original Crazies and Silence of lambs. He likes Zombies...i think. anyway heres the trailer:



im sort of obsessed with zombies and love any movie, book, or video game, that zombies are present in but i cant decide about this one.

kitchen lady

Lately ive been obsessed with all things kitchen related.
its weird really since im not a very domestic person at all... but im in love with aprons, mittens, mixing bowls, cookies, baking, measuring cups, tea sets, even towels and things...
So im getting ready for a "Kitchen Lady" photo shoot. Ive been sketching ideas all week. but i wont be able to do it until june:( i have to get my camera first (!)eeeeeee! i cant wait. the shoot will include, butcher knives, mixing bowls from target (cute), homemade aprons (in the mean time ill be making these), and cows...probably. ive got some ambitious ideas...

Pretty Flowers

The other night i had a great idea...ive been needing flowers for my beautiful vases i found but i didnt want real ones...they die and turn brown and slimy. so i was going to buy fake ones, you know, the pretty ones that come in all the colors? yeah well, i got lazy to be honest and never went to buy them. So i was bored the other night and started cutting flowers out of scrapbook paper, this is what happened...





I love them!

WELLLLL, tomoro is going to be so busy! and the next day and the next...we have a shoot in branson, and then a dance school to shoot on saturday (im reeeal excited about that one) and then some dogs and a baby for me to shoot on sunday, ha!

It feels like fall outside...

and im ok with it.
the weather is so yuck out today. its freezing and dark and drizzly...and i spent the day drinking coffee, watching Always Sunny in Philadelphia and making things:) it was good oh and i took a final. passed. :)! that kind of inspired me to enroll for next semester, i was going to anyways but i didnt want to.

ok so lately Ive been OBSESSED with thrifting. its weird because i usually kind of hate thrift store shopping but now that i have a house to decorate and stuff its a fun little hunt and i loveeee.

Im obsessing over exercise, too. Its almost summer. although it doesnt look like it.

Alice Cooper show:)


Rob Zombie show! My favorite part of his whole show was that he had lots of monsters and robots on stage and they were big, like really big. It made me so happy. I would have gotten a better photo of them but I was NOT braving that hot, sweaty, zombie-fan-filth just to get a decent photo...

and my lucky boyfriend hung out with Rob and Cooper before the show...


Lucky. wellllll i found my camera so i think ill share pics of my favorite parts of home<3 they are mostly all in the kitchen area. I love having a house its like a neverending project. Im constantly thinking of new ways to decorate or make for it. i love.

Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie.

Last night was the Cooper/Zombie show and it was fantastic! Aside from the pre-show drama (all carefully instigated by the dick-tastic management of Alice Cooper) the SHOW was great. Ive have never heard of anyone suffering such a rockstar complex, pathetic and unnecessary but that's beside the point. I felt a lot better about things when Alice started killing himself on stage:) and I was absolutely blown away by the Zombie show! I took lots of pictures and videos that ill post later but i lost my camera....ha!
