first off, look at this beautiful family I found today... the cute one is my nephew:)


i caught all of these on accident.

today was pumpkin days at my dads house. It was a hit. My dad was a proud host:)







oh and i caught something monumental, boyfriend smiling for the camera. Ok not really for the camera but i was extra sneaky and caught him off-gaurd;) I usually get photos of him chin up eyes down with the coldest expression staring as if the camera challenged him to a duel. he doesnt like pictures. so this was special.


after carving 15 or so pumpkins total, i stole the seeds:)
and then baked them. yuuuummmm.

Pumpkins and things ♥

Today I visited a pumpkin patch with my papa, we were on a quest to find 15 of the most perfect pumpkin you ever did see. Yes,15. You see, every year my dad hosts "Pumpkin Days" at his house and its always a fun event for friends and family to get together, eat, drink, and carve pumpkins. This will be boyfiends 3rd year in attendance and we've looked forward to it each year ♥ Its always fun seeing new faces and of course making pumpkin seeds!

emotion overload

whoa. This week has been a treat to say the least. So many fabulous things have happened in my personal life and I feel so blessed and lucky for my friends and the opportunities that have presented themselves in my life recently but on the other hand ive got things pulling me very seriously back down to earth... or below. Turns out that loving your family so much is not always a fun time but Id rather be in love with my family and deal with the hard times than have no family at all. Its just sucking the life right out of me right now. Enough of that though, I've got exciting news:) Theres a local independent boutique downtown next to boyfriends record store called iNDie, they sell super adorable hard to find brands for girls and guys PLUS local handmade goodies and Ive been picked up as a seller! I'll be selling my headbands for starters and she wants me to sell paintings as well. I love to paint but its a very personal thing to me. I dont know if I would want to produce to make money, that might take the magic from it but we shall see:) happy tuesday!

I made hot apple cider for me and the boy tonight, DIY recipe too. Ill share: apple juice, brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon sticks. boil it. voila! be your own judge of amounts;)

October is one of my favorite months! I have been so very inspired to reorganize and decorate my home, shopping like crazy online, i found nothing except this:

Im making a reading corner in the record space we have now so i need a comfy chair, and table, and bookcase. I found a chair and table...are you ready to experience the magic of this chair?

hiya folks! Its been a lovely weekend of work and good-old-fashioned football. Friday night we went to see the boyfriends little brother play football in Columbus Kansas. I love that his hometown is so very quaint. You wouldnt believe that these people live in 2010. I thought i was in pleasantville. Needless to say they lost but it was still a good time.:) here are some pictures.


School spirit is so cute. I never had any, maybe thats why appreciate it so much, I guess I just like tradition.

I spent the rest of my weekend working, sleeping, and daydreaming of redecorating my home. Emphasis on decorating my home. My spidey senses are telling me that there might be lots of home posts this weeeek! Ive been searching for the cutest things that id like to share:) hope your weekend was more eventful than mine!
