Lately Ive been obsessing over netflix, strawberry milkshakes, and yoga...that doesnt go together does it? hmmm... Oh and I have a cute story!

This guy came into my work today needing a photo of him on one knee holding a ring box. He was going to use the photo to propose to his girlfriend with. How cutee?! Thats why I love my job!

Baby baby!

Today was my sisters baby shower I put together the whole thing with the help of my prettiest sister, Anje, Ive never put together a party before especially involving so many people that I didnt know but i pulled it off quite fantastically. We had so much fun.

This post is the first of hopefully many. Maybe ill do a weekly post of favorite etsy shops! thats optimistic thinking, if youve read my blog more than once you probably know how great i am at making regular posts on here:) ill make no promises but be expecting some good finds. Its hard to separate the exceptional etsy shops out there in cyberspace-i might of assistance, might.

annnnnywho. I had a perfect weekend. Sailor Jerry turned 100 and i celebrated with cake, chocolate, and friends at iNDie and spent the rest of the weekend painting, spending time with loves, and moving my kitty in with us!!! Hes been living at my dads and its been soo nice having him roam around the house with me:) photos to come. Happy almost monday!

Indian loves.

Im been super inspired by indian fashion laely so I decided to work it into my headbands, heres what happened...


I love them!


This is the first one, and i think its pretty fantastic, not that im tooting my own horn, but... i am. My favorite part about this one is that it has a sewn in hair 'clip' that blends in with your hair plus fun feather flair at the top. lovelove!




This one has a simple feather piece sewn in. Its not so elaborate but it gets the point across and i love it, too:)

New Spaces

I have an extra bedroom for crafting and once upon a time it was beautiful but its become sort of a storage room that i ransack every night in search of my yarn and needles. nothing is organized anymore. This has to stop. Im really excited to reorganize my space and make it a beautiful and inspiring studio to craft and paint and draw in:) heres what i love.


Debees space is perfect for small spaces like mine i love the vertical organization and the yarn at the top! *gasp!* color coordinated yarn is fantastic.


i love the beautiful tone and mood Danielles space has makes for some serious inspiration. and I love the open storage.

In my space I definitrly want all of my crafts displayed openly, i think their pretty and ill never forget what i have and i have to have all of my yarn in one space...color coordinated. and chalk board paint would be nice...maybe i should take before and after pictures! the cleaning commences TONIGHT! im off to work, ill be back when something fun happens in my life, who knows when that could be?

January First!

Its 2011. Oh My!

My view all night. We went to Cartoons:) boyfriend worked (of course) on New Years Eve as the light guy for The Dropouts so i got to watch him play with lights all night and that balloon was blocking my view the entire time! We had a lot of fun:)


Patricks hands slaving away. It was really nice seeing him work a show, he does this regularly but Ive never been I love seeing him do something he's passionate about and seeing him in his 'element' was very special for me.

We had a kiss at midnight:)

2011 is going to be grand, dont you think?
